Pixies have announced details of a huge UK and European tour for later this year.
The new gigs take place across September and October, beginning in Cardiff on 13th September.
The run will include a huge London show at Alexandra Palace on 20th September before heading to the mainland and finishing up in Galicia on 26th October.
The new tour follows the band’s 30th anniversary celebration of their ‘Surfer Rosa’ and ‘Come On Pilgrim’ albums, during which they played a week of shows at London’s Roundhouse.
In our review of one of the gigs, we said: “It’s been 30 years since the release of these two iconic records, but Pixies still know how to conquer. A stellar performance.”
