Pixies share latest album preview ‘Motoroller’, schedule UK & European tour
The band have confirmed plans to return to our side of the Atlantic next year, following their appearance at All Points East last month.

Ahead of the release of their forthcoming new album next month, Pixies have offered up another new track, alongside news of some big UK and European touring plans.
The band - who will release their next studio album, ‘The Night The Zombies Came’, on 25th October via BMG - have now shared its fourth preview, in the form of ‘Motoroller’, a storming offering that includes Black Francis going for a scooter ride around Berlin (as you do). “This is one of those kinds of songs where there’s little threads you can follow and they take you somewhere,” the frontman has said of the track. “But they’re not required for the experience. You can just start fishing around in the lyrics, and maybe you won’t find exactly what the story is, but you’ll find a story related to the city of Berlin. So just have fun with the clues that are there.”
‘The Night The Zombies Came’ will land 35 years on from the band’s now Platinum-certified 1989 LP ‘Doolittle’, and, apparently, comes informed by Druidism, apocalyptic shopping malls, medieval themed restaurants, 12th century poetic form, surf rock, gargoyles, bog people, and 1970s era Fleetwood Mac. Check out ‘Motoroller’ below.
Alongside their latest sonic offering, the band have also announced plans to return to our side of the Atlantic next year, when they’ll return for a twenty-date UK and European headline tour. Taking place across April and May 2025, the tour will include two shows at London’s Brixton Academy.
The shows will take place after their upcoming run in Australia and New Zealand, where they’ll be supporting Pearl Jam. Tickets for their UK and European tour will go on general sale from 9am this Friday (20th September). Check out their live plans below.
