PJ Harvey heads to Afghanistan in new video for ‘The Orange Monkey’
The track’s taken from new album ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project’.

PJ Harvey released her new album ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project’ back in April, and has now given its standout ‘The Orange Monkey’ a touching accompanying clip.
The tour for Polly Jean’s first #1 LP has just begun, and continues through the summer, with sets at Field Day and Glastonbury coming up this month.
The new video for ‘The Orange Monkey’ was once again directed by wartime photographer Seamus Murphy, with whom she worked closely with all the way through the ‘Hope Six’ process. He’s previously made clips for the album’s tracks ‘The Wheel’ (set in Kosovo) and ‘The Community Of Hope’ (in Washington, DC).
‘The Orange Monkey”s video centres around Afghanistan, offering beautiful landscape shots of the war-torn region. Watch it below. PJ Harvey headlines Field Day this Sunday (12th June).
