PJ Harvey to debut new material at October’s London Literature Festival
Harvey is hosting an event to promote the release of her new book ‘The Hollow Of The Hand’.
PJ Harvey is set to debut new material at the London Literature Festival, taking place at the Southbank Centre in October.
The event will see PJ Harvey host an event to promote her new book ‘The Hollow Of The Hand’, a collection of poetry and photography in collaboration with photographer Seamus Murphy. The collection documents Harvey and Murphy’s travels in Kosovo, Afghanistan and North America between 2011-2014.
The event takes place between 9th-10th October with tickets on sale Wednesday 22nd July at 10 am. Harvey will play material from her new album and poetry readings while Murphy’s short film and images on show throughout the performance.
Earlier this year, PJ Harvey recorded her album in front of the general public, during an exhibition at London’s Somerset House. DIY was there to see part of the process - catch up with our report here.
