PJ Harvey to sell lyric sheets from Somerset House ‘Recording in Progress’ sessions

This week, PJ Harvey’s ‘Recording in Progress’ sessions came to an end, where she finished a month-long exhibition of recording her new album in public view, behind one-way glass.

With the Somerset House sessions concluding, Polly Harvey is now selling exclusive lyric sheet reproductions. Eight unique sheets have been reproduced “to illustrate how the process of songwriting entails numerous drafts”.

The songs in question (take this to be a draft tracklist for the new LP):

- Medicinals

- The Children

- The Ministry of Social Affaires

- The Revolving Wheel

- Imagine This

- River Anacostia

- UNHCR

Sheets are being auctioned off for £50. Somerset House is also selling limited portraits shot by photographer Seamus Murphy behind the scenes at Somerset House’s Courtyard.
