Premiere: Listen: Flowers Stream ‘Stuck’ Track

London trio Flowers are perfectly happy sticking to a routine of flooding the ears with ridiculously harsh guitars and gnarly tones. But it’s in the more restrained ‘Stuck’ that they truly come into a force of their own.

‘Stuck’ clocks in as the third track on a new single via Fortuna POP!, and it’s the perfect swansong for the release. A single, ringing bass string defines this super-minimal song, with bassist and vocalist Rachel adding a sweetly-spokoen contrast to the raw-as-hell aesthetic.

Clocking in just over the two minute mark, it’s a brief glimpse of the band’s softer side. Saying that, it remains a fully charged emotional juggernaut given the right setting and pair of ears.
