Premiere: Listen: Looks Stream Debut Single ‘Everest’

Some tracks creep up on the conscience. Others waste not a single second in making an impact. With LOOKS - a new London group standing out as one of the key names to see at this year’s Great Escape Festival, Brighton - are all about immediacy.

Coming off like a quick fix combination of Foals’ jagged, early math-rock days and a more sinister version of Klaxons, there’s not a single shred of mystery to be found on ‘Everest’. It’s there from the very off; a blow-your-socks-off delivery that doesn’t quit.

LOOKS play the Killing Moon stage at Brighton’s Great Escape, The Mesmerist, on 9th May and Sticky Mikes Frog Bar on 10th May. ‘Everest’ is out via Killing Moon Recs. on 23rd June.
