Premiere: Listen: Michael A Grammar Stream ‘Random Vision’ EP In Full

Listen to the Brighton band’s monstrously huge new EP first on DIY.

Brighton based newcomers Michael A Grammar have been sipping on a little something, if their new ‘Random Vision’ EP is anything to go by.

In a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Vitamin Easy’ debut, the band have since expanded their line-up, giving an extra kick to their expansive, psych-doused sound to boot. Lead track ‘The Day I Come Alive’ is Tame Impala aiming for a festival headline slot, in a nutshell, and everything that follows is similarly huge. We’re talking monstrous, shameless riffs on ‘Upstairs Downstairs’, a frenzy of excitable, Hacienda-era atmospherics on ‘The Way You Move’. It’s all there.

DIY’s delighted to be streaming the EP in full. The band have also kindly shared some exclusive sketches, put together during the recording of ‘Random Vision’ back in November 2013. All sketches are by visual collaborator Tom Stoke.
