Premiere: Watch: JLYY Unveil New ‘PETO’ Video

Everything projected by London group JLYY (pronounced ‘July’, although ‘Jolly”s more fun) up to now has been shared through half-terrifying, 100% intriguing visuals, and the trend continues with a new video for ‘PETO’, premiering on DIY.

Initially the group lured in Wu Lyf comparisons because of their (relative) mystique and taste for commanding, collage-style visuals, but it’s in ‘PETO’ itself that they shy away from these comparisons. Percussion borders on the brink of extreme, while waves and waves of crashing guitars don’t so much pierce the surface as create their own new territory.
