Premiere: Wild Smiles Share Two New Tracks, Preview Debut Album
Chris Peden and co flick and switch and root for a psyched-out sound, which previews a 2014 LP.

Southampton based champions of escapist guitar pop, Wild Smiles, are getting through the final stages of finishing their debut album, apparently.
Tentatively due out in 2014, this full-length may or may not contain these two tracks: ‘The Hell & The Sea’ and ‘When You’re Down’. Quitting the mystery for a second, one thing’s for certain: They’re available to listen to now exclusively on DIY.
Far removed from the hype and unrelenting attention being awarded to the band, these songs are clever beings, shunning trends and instead rooting for ramshackle psych. ‘The Hill & The Sea’ is a rhythmic beast that turns and turns and turns, while ‘When You’re Down’ is a wildly spirited track that turns its gaze towards some Tame Impala-style introspection.
