Prima Queen are back with heartsore new track ‘Fool’

Transatlantic best friends and bandmates Prima Queen have returned, armed with new track ‘Fool’ and the news that they’ve signed to Submarine Cat Records (home to the likes of Swim Deep, FEET, Home Counties, and Fräulein). 

Produced by Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams, Picture Parlour, Nell Mescal), the single is our first taste of what to expect from the duo’s forthcoming (unannounced) debut album, and serves as a follow up to last year’s ‘Not The Baby’ EP. 

Speaking about their intimate new number, Prima Queen have explained that ‘Fool’ is about “loving someone who is anxious-avoidant and grappling with the fact that they’re incapable of giving you the type of love that you need. It’s the song that took us the longest to write - we started it years ago but kept changing the lyrics because it never felt quite finished. It wasn’t until the relationship was over when we finally understood what we were trying to say.”
