PROM welcome in 2015 with new track, ‘Celebrate’

Tomorrow sees the beginning of DIY’s Hello 2015 series, our four, free new music showcases taking place at London’s The Old Blue Last. Brighton fiends The Magic Gang headline the opening night and with Bloody Knees topping the bill on Jan 13th, it’s up to a new outfit from the capital to add further fire to proceedings.

PROM blend blues and harsh sludgy licks to form a new kind of proposition, one fronted by Angela Won-Yin Mak. Talk turns to pleasure in their new track ‘Celebrate’, premiering on DIY. It’s a noir-shaded kick to the system, a twisted take on grimy rock that’s going to take some topping.

Their second song to date, it forms part of PROM’s debut 7” single ‘Cry Baby Cry’ and “Celebrate’, out 12th January 2015. Pre-order here.
