Protomartyr share new track ‘Don’t Go To Anacita’

Their new album ‘Relatives In Descent’ is out on Friday.

This Friday (29th September), Protomartyr are releasing their fourth album, ‘Relatives In Descent’ via their new label Domino.

After already sharing ‘My Children’ last month, there’s still time for the band to squeeze in one more taste of what to expect from the LP before it’s unleashed. And here it is! ‘Don’t Go To Anacita’ sees the band crafting dark but driving punk, a foundation for singer Joe Casey’s lyrics. They centre on a fictional town Joe invented, which becomes a foil for him to vent his ire towards.

Protomartyr will also be heading out on a tour of the UK in November in support of ‘Relatives In Descent’. They’ll head to Brighton, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Leeds along the way. Tickets are on sale now.

Listen to ‘Don’t Go To Anacita’ and see Protomartyr’s upcoming UK tour dates below.

NOVEMBER
12 Brighton, The Haunt
14 London, Tufnell Park Dome
15 Manchester, Deaf Institute
16 Newcastle, Cluny
17 Glasgow, CCA
19 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
