Public Access T.V. share new single and announce new EP
‘Metropolis’ is the first preview from the ‘Public Access EP’.
New York group Public Access T.V. have shared the first single from upcoming EP ‘Public Access’. Previewed by ‘Metropolis’, the EP will be released this spring by Terrible Records.
On ‘Metropolis’, Public Access T.V. hone in on their exuberant, new wave influences, producing an ode to the city with the line, “I don’t wanna live in California, I’d take New York any day.” Not as snarly and speedy as last year’s ‘Monaco’ or ‘In The Mirror’, ‘Metropolis’ is a more polished affair that wears its heart on its sleeve, rooted in the cosmopolitan cool that befits Manhattan over Brooklyn while poking fun at scenesters from the former borough.
Listen to ‘Metropolis’ below.
