Raury announces debut album, ‘All We Need’
First work is out 16th October via Columbia.
Atlanta’s Raury has announced plans to release his debut album, ‘All We Need’.
Out 16th October via Columbia, the album includes previously-unveiled songs ‘Devil’s Whisper’ and ‘Friends’. RZA guests on a new track, ‘CPU’.
It follows on from 2014’s ‘Indigo Child’ project, a collection that saw Raury backflipping between styles and genres with a berserk, childlike enthusiasm.
Fans in Atlanta were treated to a listening party at Stankonia last night. Raury announced the album on Twitter, saying: “I used to legit dislike myself… Hate lived in me and I didn’t even know why. One album turned all that anger I had into self belief. And ever since then all I’ve wanted to do for the rest of my life was do that same thing for other people. The world needs music, because so many of us are lost.”
