Reading 2013: Green Day, Chvrches & More Set To Kick Off Festival
Skrillex, Bastille and System of a Down are all set to play day one of Reading.

Day one of Reading & Leeds starts in just under a couple of hours. Headliners Green Day (Reading) and Biffy Clyro (Leeds) top the Main Stage. Beyond that it’s a frenzy of exciting music from all corners.
DIY’s on site to provide live updates throughout the day. Tonight’s headliners Green Day are fresh from playing an intimate London date in Brixton where ‘Dookie’ - yes, ‘Dookie’ - gained a full airing. The whole album.
On the NME/Radio 1 stage, Skrillex is stepping up to the chase as headliner, set to perform one of the weekend’s most riotous sets. Further down the bill, Major Lazer and A$AP Rocky raise the party atmosphere, while on the Main Stage thousands are set to flock to see System of a Down.
Chvrches are high-up on the Festival Republic stage, due to play just after 9pm, while Bastille is due on at the NME/Radio 1 stage, 6pm. Don’t miss those.
