ReBalance Celebrates International Women’s Day with a very special one-day event

Taking place on Sunday 8th March at London’s Union Chapel, ReBalance are hosting a special event for International Women’s Day!

Throughout the day, there will be speed networking, panels and talks, where newcomers can meet women in the music industry across loads of different sectors. Women from Festival Republic, Live Nation, Academy Music Group, Big Scary Monsters, Sony Music, MAMA, Ogle Hog, Metropolis, Melody VR, National Merchandise, BBC, Safe Gigs for Women, and PRS Foundation will be in attendance, with many more to be announced!

Also, in the evening, there will be a performance from Nilüfer Yanya, with support from Martha Hill and Tamzene!

Speaking about the event, the ReBalance team say: “We are incredibly proud of what ReBalance has achieved, so it only made sense to take the scheme further by hosting an event on International Women’s Day for those who want to meet women in the industry. Aimed at newcomers or if you’re just curious, this event is the chance to learn from the brightest stars and pick up some tips. Lack of female representation in music is an industry wide issue, and we want to level it.”

Day tickets for the Meet Women In The Music Industry event are £2, with the money donated to Safe Gigs For Women. Tickets for the performance are separate, costing £17.50. Grab them both here!
