Mystery Jets reveal gorgeous new single ‘Soul River’
The heartfelt track gets taken from their forthcoming seventh album, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’.

A month on from announcing plans to release their seventh album later this year, London quartet Mystery Jets have shared their latest single.
Having already previewed their forthcoming LP, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’, via the reverb-soaked ‘Black Sage’ and its title track, now the band are offering a glimpse at its more emotive side, via the soaring ‘Soul River’. “A deeply personal track, ‘Soul River’ was written as a tribute to a close friend of the band and cherished figure from our hometown of Eel Pie Island, who tragically lost his life to suicide,” the band have said, of the song. “The song is a celebration of a life cut short but one which lives on in our memory and our music.”
Definitely one that’ll tug on the heartstrings, ‘Soul River’ marks the third preview of ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’, which is due for release on 21st August via Fiction Records, following 2020’s ‘A Billion Heartbeats’. Listen to their latest song below.
