Rivers Cuomo joins Real Estate onstage in L.A.

Last night (Tuesday 18th November), Real Estate were joined onstage by Rivers Cuomo for a performance of Weezer’s ‘No Other One’.

The surprise collaboration came during the band’s headline set at Los Angeles’ Belasco Theatre, when the Cuomo appeared onstage with the New Jersey outfit for a special performance of the track from 1996’s ‘Pinkerton’.

It brought a very welcome twist to Day 18 of Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days in LA, which also featured Portland’s Pure Bathing Culture and L.A. locals Beach Party on the bill.

Real Estate recently appeared on Conan to perform recent single ‘Crime’ taken from their latest album ‘Atlas’.

Weezer will be embarking on some North American tour dates in December, including KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Xmas at The Forum, LA, on Sunday 14th December. Cuomo will take part in a Reddit AMA on Thursday 20th November.
