Robyn And Röyksopp, Queens Of The Stone Age To Play Øya 2014
Joey Bada$$, Omar Souleyman and Neutral Milk Hotel have also been confirmed for the 5-day fest.
Norway’s Øya Festival is set to take place across five days next August, taking place in new location Tøyenparken for the first time. The plan is to closed roads and join up the space of two parks, with the same number of tickets being sold as usual, allowing for more space.
The first batch of acts have been confirmed for the festival: Robyn And Röyksopp (Do It Again 2014), touring together in 2014, are joined by Queens of the Stone Age, Neutral Milk Hotel, Omar Souleyman, Joey Bada$$, Deafheaven and Nadine Shah.
Local Norweigan acts come in the form of Hanne Kolstø, Daniel kvammen and Spidergawd, with more to be confirmed.
Tickets for the entire weekend are priced at £235, with day tickets sold at £79. The event is non-camping, with festival-goers being encouraged to book via Air B&B or local hotels.
