Go behind the scenes of Robyn’s ‘Honey’ video
The clip for the title track of the singer’s new album came out last week.

Last week, Robyn shared a new video for the title track from her new album ‘Honey’, which saw her hitting the club.
She’s now shared a behind the scenes video, digging into the creation of the recent visual.
The clip was directed by Max Vitali, who says: “As with any video, or anything in life at all in fact, it’s all about having great people around. We had amazing, beautiful people that brought amazing, beautiful energy, both in front of and behind the camera, and I hope that comes across.”
“I was amazed by the warmth and open spirit of the cast,” Robyn says of the creation of the clip. “It was lovely to dance with them during the shoot, the energy was so cool. Max and I both wanted this video to feel loose and free and I was just so impressed of how everyone who came to be a part of the shoot just got it and gave it their all.”
We spoke to Robyn for the October cover feature in DIY, where she told us all about the troubles she faced while working on what would become ‘Honey’.
“I felt a bit lost. When I did the ‘Body Talk’ album I’d just finished the other album before it [2005’s self-titled effort], so I was up to speed and just continuing. With [‘Honey’], it really felt like a new start, and that was a little nervewracking. I knew that I had to take my time, and I wasn’t in a space where I could force it. I really didn’t have a choice, it was just the way it was.” Read the full cover feature here.
