Last year (yes, really) Run The Jewels released their most recent album ‘RTJ3’, but they’ve been pretty busy since, heading to all sorts of festivals and
Now they’ve shared a brand new track! Hooray! After a remix of the track was featured in a trailer, ‘Mean Demeanor’ has been taken from the soundtrack from EA’s ‘FIFA 18’ game. It’s not the first time that RTJ’s music has been used for games (‘Panther Like A Panther’ was premiered in a trailer for ‘Gears of War 4’) but this one might make the experience of simulating the ultimate grudge match between some of the best teams just that little bit more epic.
Run The Jewels commented: “Huge thanks to the folks at EA for including us in this iconic game. When we asked what they wanted they told us to just be us, which worked out nicely since we aren’t good at much else. We tried to make something we could imagine playing in a stadium and getting everyone amped for the game.”
