Sam Fender drops new ‘People Watching’ preview ‘Wild Long Lie’
It’s also arrived alongside a B-side entitled ‘Me & The Dog’.

Sam Fender is back with new single ‘Wild Long Lie’ - our second taste of what to expect from his forthcoming third album (due out on 21st February 2025), following the recent release of its anthemic title track ‘People Watching’.
A more meditative, understated number than its predecessor, ‘Wild Long Lie’ has also arrived accompanied by bonus B-side track ‘Me & The Dog’ - itself a ’70s-tinged, evocative number reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac (albeit with his signature saxophone).
These first previews of Sam’s LP3 have been highly anticipated by fans; his last album, ‘Seventeen Going Under’, came out in 2021, and the North Shields hero has been teasing new music for months, via clips of him working with The War On Drugs’ Adam Granduciel in the studio.
What’s more, Sam also recently announced details of four huge stadium shows for next Summer, which will follow his imminent arena run around the UK and Ireland.
You can find out more about his June 2025 live dates and hear ‘Wild Long Lie’ and ‘Me & The Dog’ below.
