SBTRKT streams ‘Voices In My Head’ track, feat. A$AP Ferg

‘Voices In My Head’ is the closing track on SBTRKT’s forthcoming second album ‘Wonder Where We Land’. Featuring A$AP Ferg on vocals, the track’s streaming now, posted alongside a lengthy explanation about those involved in the track.

Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa plays drums on the track, with Emily Kokal from the band also guesting on vocals. Ferg came in following initial sessions at Flea’s the Boat studio, LA. Drug-dosed and paranoid to the extreme, it’s an uneasy, deadly closer to an album that deals with heavy topics.

SBTRKT calls it “one of my fave tracks”, that “seemed to be a fitting ending to the record.”

It links up with the Ezra Koenig-featuring ‘New Dorp. New York’, newly shared collaboration ‘Higher’ featuring Raury, and the Sampha-guesting ‘Temporary View’ in previewing the album. SBTRKT’s also shared a live version of ‘War Drums’, featuring Warpaint, which acts as a bonus track.
