September 23 is David Bowie Day in Chicago

September 23 will be officially named ‘David Bowie Day’ due to the arrival of his ‘David Bowie Is…’ exhibition at Chicago’s Museum Of Contemporary Art.

The exhibition runs from 23rd September to 4th January 2015, and it’s set to present the “first retrospective” of his “extraordinary career”, containing more than 400 objects (lyrics, costumes, album artwork, performance material) picked up from the past five decades.

Bowie recently announced a greatest hits album, ‘Nothing Changed’, due for release in November. It features a previously unheard track ‘Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)’, which was produced earlier this year by Tony Visconti. It’s gaining release as a standalone 10* single on the same day as the greatest hits LP.

That’s not all - the 10” will also come back with another exclusive 2014 recording, b-side ’Tis A Pity She’s A Whore’.

The collection is also set to feature the likes of ‘Ziggy Stardust’ and ‘Life On Mars?’.
