Silver Gore share new single 'Black Cherry Liqueur'

Silver Gore - aka London duo Ava Gore and Ethan P. Flynn - are back with a new sonic delight, this time in the form of new single ‘Black Cherry Liqueur’.

The track - laced with skidding beats and suitably sugary melodies - marks the pair’s first new music since the release of last year’s EP ‘Dogs In Heaven’, which acted as their introduction proper last September.

“It’s about risk-taking, letting go and understanding that things will not turn out how you planned,” Ava says, of their newest track. “It’s about being drunk on the absurdity and unexpectedness of life. But accidentally poisoning aspects of your life in doing this. Always welcoming surprise and the joy of the unexpected. Being destructive and building in the ashes.”

This new single follows on from their inclusion in our Class of 2026 issue, and their performances at both the Class of 2026 launch show, and our Hello 2026 residency earlier in January. It also lands ahead of a busy summer of festival appearances, which kick off next month. Check out ‘Black Cherry Liqueur’ below, and remind yourself of their upcoming live schedule underneath the player.
