Having announced that their debut album ‘I Am The Dog’ will be out on 19th May via Atlantic Records, Sir Chloe – the project of vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Dana Foote - have announced that they’ll be touring the UK, Europe and the US later this year. Speaking about their recent single ‘Hooves’ in our Neu Bulletin, we said, “‘Hooves’ is a dizzying, insatiable rush through the best bits of sassy, slinky indie past and present. The classic ingredients are there - fuzzy, bass riffs rubbing up against feminine backing vocals like a dance floor flirtation; a chorus that drives into the next gear with a hook that’ll be lodged in your head for weeks - but as with any band with the potential for brilliance, Vermont’s Sir Chloe make the whole thing sound new and fresh and terribly exciting. It’s a bit Wet Leg, a bit Garbage, a bit Yeah Yeah Yeahs: click your ‘Hooves’ together three times and we’re in heaven.” Check out ‘Hooves’ and the band’s tour dates below.
