Sir Chloe offers up scuzzy new track 'Passenger' • News • DIY Magazine

Sir Chloe is back with a third preview of her forthcoming new album ‘Swallow The Knife’, which is set for release later this month.

Dana Foote’s newest track ‘Passenger’ follows on from her previously-released cuts ‘Forgiving’ and ‘The Hole’, which both feature on her forthcoming second album. “I imagined the anguish I experienced while making this record as a passenger who travelled with me,” Dana has said, of the inspiration for her new offering. “It sat on my chest like a rabid chimp, swiping at my face. I sing a lot about longing for relief on this record, because for a long time, I couldn’t get any. You just have to wait it out and be sane and perfect and calm and smiling with your nose ripped off.”

‘Swallow The Knife’ marks Sir Chloe’s second full-length release, following on from her 2023 debut ‘I Am The Dog’, and will be released on 22nd August via ONErpm. The album was recorded in London alongside Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams, Bartees Strange) with Dana in charge of most of the record’s instrumentation, while drums were played by Sarah Jones, who plays with Harry Styles.
