Super mare
Slaves got duped into thinking they were playing Banksy’s Dismaland
Kent duo “got done, good and proper” by an impostor.

It could be one of Banksy’s subversive ‘makes u think’ tricks, but Slaves have been duped by an impostor pretending to book the enigmatic artist’s Dismaland ‘bemusement park’.
The ‘Are You Satisfied?’ duo had previously announced plans to play the Western-super-Mare location on 25th September, but they’ve had a super mare of their own having been tricked by a fake booker.
“Some silly sausage pretending to be the organiser invited us to play a gig there and we naturally obliged. Turns out it wasn’t genuine. Got done, good and proper,” the band announced. They’re still planning on playing a show by the coast, mind you. “As we know many of you had made plans to pay us a visit we have decided to play our own show in Weston-super-Mare that night anyway! Details will be announced tomorrow and tickets will be on sale Tuesday at youareallslaves.com. More details soon,” they added.
Dismaland last week hosted Run the Jewels, with Massive Attack and Savages also confirmed to play the pop-up space.
