"Hell is coming"
Slipknot announce UK and Ireland tour for January 2015
The band will be returning to our shores for ten shows early next year.
It’s been well over half a decade since they last embarked upon a full tour of the UK, but now Slipknot have announced their live return.
The band, who are gearing up to release their new album ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’ later this year, will be heading to our shores in January 2015 to undergo a ten-date UK tour; their first since their 2008 ‘All Hope Is Gone’ run.
Dubbed the ‘Prepare For Hell’ tour, things kick off on 14th January and will include stops at the likes of Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Cardiff and Nottingham, alongside a date scheduled to take place at London’s Wembley Arena for good measure. They’re also bringing longtime friends - and current US touring buddies - Korn along for the ride too.
“The UK has always been very special for us,” said the band’s frontman Corey Taylor, in a press release. “In a lot of ways, it’s where this insanity began. So, for this tour, we decided to try and hit as many places as we could - not only England, but Scotland and Wales as well. Technically Ireland is Europe, but we’re going there too. We’re coming back for the people who started this for us: that would be YOU. Prepare yourselves… Hell is coming.”
The dates are as follows.

14 3Arena, Dublin
16 Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield
