SOPHIE, Nicki Minaj and Madonna have worked on a song together, according to Diplo

Diplo’s had history with the PC Music-affiliated crowd. He helped produce XL-signed SOPHIE x A.G. Cook single ‘Hey QT’, and he’s been in the studio with the Numbers producer on a couple of occasions.

In a new interview with inthemix, Diplo’s revealed just how insane these sessions have been getting. According to the producer, he’s been witness to SOPHIE, Madonna and Nicki Minaj all working together in the same room.

“You’d be surprised…me and SOPHIE did a bunch of stuff together. We’re going to be releasing it. I did a record that was literally SOPHIE and Madonna and Nicki Minaj,” were his exact words.

“I just love collaborating. I mean, if I can make a good record with Madonna, Nicki Minaj and SOPHIE, that’s all I wanna do. All I want to do is things that haven’t been done before. I want to leave behind those weird thing.”

Further surprises are in store from SOPHIE - we’ve still yet to see anything from his previously cited sessions with K-Pop star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
