St Vincent’s taking her aunt and uncle out on tour
Jazz duo Tuck & Patti are joining the North American leg of the Fear the Future tour.

St Vincent’s announced a couple of special guests for the North American leg of her Fear the Future tour - her aunt and uncle are joining her on the road.
“I am thrilled to announce that Tuck and Patti, will be joining the “Fear the Future” tour!” said Annie Clark. “Tuck and Patti are an acclaimed duo who have been touching people’s hearts worldwide for three decades. They are also responsible for my earliest touring experiences. Why? Because they are my Aunt and Uncle. Cue up, Sister Sledge and Jade’s, “We Are Family!”
St Vincent’s aunt and uncle, it just so happens, are the jazz duo Tuck & Patti. They’ve been actively touring and making music since the 80s, and one of Annie Clark’s first experiences with music came from joining them on the road. The pair feature on her latest album ‘MASSEDUCTION’.
“It was a real family kumbaya,” St Vincent told DIY last year, speaking about the collaboration. “They’re such incredible musicians, and I liked getting them out their comfort zone a little bit. Patti screams in a song and it’s just so resonant. It’s buried in there, and it was like, woah, the sea’s parted. They’d seen my shows, but we hadn’t been in the studio together since I was a kid, watching them and learning.”
