Last night Talking Heads frontman and all-round maestro David Byrne brought his new project Contemporary Color to Toronto’s Luminato Festival. A whole bunch of musicians including Dev Hynes, tUnE-yArDs, How To Dress Well, and Byrne collaborator St. Vincent performed original new compositions with a colour guard, and fans at the event captured some sneak previews on film.

Ad-Rock and Money Mark, Zola Jesus, Kelis, Nelly Furtado, Nico Muhly, Ira Glass of This American Life also performed, along with David Byrne himself. Check out footage below, shared by both fans at the event, and the musicians who played.
