St. Vincent gets gifted guitar signed by David Bowie

Annie Clark aka St. Vincent has a new guitar in her possession, signed by the one and only David Bowie.

Clark’s musical hero signed the instrument for model and actress Cara Delevingne, who then gave the guitar as a gift.

She posted a picture of the guitar on Instagram, saying: “An Airline Twin Tone guitar signed by David Bowie. Thank you, @caradelevingne. Best gift ever in the entire world. (Heart emoji…)” - check it out below.

This month, Clark has been heading up the ‘St. Vincent’s Mixtape Delivery Service’ shows on Apple Music’s Beats 1 station. The concept involves a fan of Clark’s choice having a mixtape curated for them, based on their backstory or current situation and tailored to their tastes.

St. Vincent’s next UK show is at Powys, Wales’ Green Man Festival, running 20th-23rd August.
