St. Vincent has scored Kristen Stewart’s short film ‘Come Swim’
She’s also one of four writers on the upcoming horror anthology ‘XX.’

Kristen Stewart’s short film ‘Come Swim’ is premiering at the Sundance Film Festival next year, and it’s been revealed that St. Vincent has composed the soundtrack.
The film is the actress’s first foray into directing and screenwriting and was made as part of Refinery 29’s female filmmaker-focused Shatterbox Anthology series. According to Variety, ‘Come Swim’ is “a diptych of one man’s day, half impressionist and half realist portraits.” Although Annie Clark revealed she’d been working on the movie, at the minute there’s no indication of what the score actually sounds like.
It seems that Annie has been quite busy of late though, as she’s also one of four writers and directors working on the upcoming anthology horror film ‘XX.’ We doubt it’s a slasher flick about a zombified Jamie xx, mind.
That all sheds a bit of light on what St. Vincent has been up to this year, but we also did a bit of snooping of our own to see just what Ms. Clark has been up to in our recent progress report, which you can read here.
