St. Vincent to release new single ‘Regret’ this summer
It follows on from previous singles ‘Birth In Reverse’ and ‘Digital Witness’.

The next single to be taken from St. Vincent’s new self-titled album will be ‘Regret’, due for release on 18th August through Caroline / Loma Vista. It follows on from previous singles ‘Birth In Reverse’ and ‘Digital Witness’.
‘St. Vincent’ is Annie Clark’s fifth studio album under the moniker, and was released in February this year. The following month she featured on the cover of DIY magazine. “I love pop music,” she enthused. “Stevie Wonder is pop, Michael Jackson is pop, Talking Heads.
“To me it’s about living in that place where accessibility and weirdo meet. That’s where all my heroes have lived. It’s cool to try and push pop music forward, to see what it could be. It’s important for me for things to be accessible. That’s the kind of music I like.”
Around the single - and in amongst festival slots, including Pukkelpop in Belgium and End of the Road in Dorset - she’ll play a string of UK live dates, with stops in Cambridge, Leeds and Glasgow, amongst others. She’ll return in October too for a few more gigs.
