St Vincent welcomes a ‘Slow Slow Disco’
A new piano-based version of the ‘MASSEDUCTION’ closer follows the recent ‘Fast Slow Disco’.
St Vincent released her new album ‘MASSEDUCTION’ last year, and its closing song was ballad ‘Slow Disco’.
Since then, the track has been turned into a disco banger courtesy of new remix ‘Fast Slow Disco’.
‘Fast Slow Disco’ recently got a steamy new video, and Annie Clark has now slowed the track down again for a new piano-based version, ‘Slow Slow Disco’.
We put St Vincent on the cover of the mag around the release of ‘MASSEDUCTION’. “There were traps I was wary of falling into,” Annie admitted to us in the cover feature. “It’s a complicated thing to be making music in these times. With the exception of Bowie,” she quips, “it’s very rare that a great artist makes their best record after they’ve bought the yacht.”
Re-visit the cover feature here, and listen to ‘Slow Slow Disco’ below.
