St Vincent shares new song ‘Pills’
She aired the ‘MASSEDUCTION’ cut on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 show.

DIY’s current cover star St Vincent has aired another new cut from her forthcoming fifth album ‘MASSEDUCTION’ - ‘Pills’.
Channelling the essence of a very unsettling advert jingle, the song - which Annie Clark performed live as she kicked off her Fear the Future tour earlier this week - comes packaged with an almost horrifically catchy chorus. It features on her new album, out on Friday.

“It comes from my personal experience of having anxiety and depression, and figuring out how to deal with that,” Annie Clark told Zane Lowe, as she played ‘Pills’ for the first time on Beats1 this evening. She also talked about collaborating with Jack Antonoff, TDE whizz Sounwave, Kamasi Washington, and Jenny Lewis on the song. Hear the full interview here.
