On the telly
St Vincent performs stripped down ‘New York’ on Kimmel
The version appears on new ‘MASSEDUCTION’ rework album ‘MassEducation’.

St Vincent released new album ‘MassEducation’ last week, a re-imagination of last year’s ‘MASSEDUCTION’ LP.
Annie Clark has now brought the new record to US telly, performing a stripped down version of ‘New York’ on Kimmel.
Jimmy Kimmel’s show is taking place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music all this week, and has also seen performances from Eminem and more.
Speaking about ‘MassEducation’, Annie has called the album - a collaboration with Thomas Bartlett on piano - “two dear friends playing songs together with the kind of secret understanding one can only get through endless nights in New York City.”
