St. Vincent to fill in for Fred Armisen in Late Night with Seth Meyers’ band
Annie Clark will front the 8G Band this August.
Annie Clark aka St. Vincent is set to fill-in for ‘Portlandia’ star Fred Armisen by leading the 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers next week.
Arriving on 11th August and 12th, the ‘Digital Witness’ is the first to be asked to front the band. She’ll be playing alongside members of Girls Against Boys and Les Savy Fav.
The band’s previously invited J Mascis and Marnie Stern as guest players, but the front role’s always been reserved for Armisen.
This year, Clark’s already made appearances on Letterman, SNL and Jools Holland - so this TV lark won’t be much of a problem.
