St. Vincent to release new songs for Record Store Day’s Black Friday
‘Pieta’ and ‘Sparrow’ are out this November.

St. Vincent is set to contribute two new songs to a forthcoming Record Store Day Black Friday release, taking place at US independent record stores on 28th November.
This year’s event is set to feature releases from Chvrches, Conor Oberst, Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan and Flaming Lips. The Decemberists are releasing a 7” featuring a new B-side, while Morrissey’s contributing a Ramones compilation.
Annie Clark’s contribution is a new 10” featuring ‘Pieta’ and ‘Sparrow’, both brand new tracks recorded in the same sessions for this year’s self-titled LP with John Congleton.
The 10” is being released in a foil-embossed package designed by Willo Perron.
St. Vincent plays the following UK shows this month:
