Stormzy covers Frank Ocean in the 1Xtra Live Lounge

Stormzy went into the 1Xtra Live Lounge this morning (27th March) and took on a cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Godspeed’, alongside tracks from his recent debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.The rapper played the cover of the ‘Blonde’ track after inviting the likes of MNEK and Wretch 32 along to play ‘Blinded By Your Grace’, ‘21 Gun Salute’ and ’Bad Boys’ from his chart-topping debut album.‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ beat Rag’n’Bone Man to the top spot a few weeks back, and Stormzy’s set to take the album on a bloody huge UK tour later this week, in a run that’s set to include three(!) nights at Brixton Academy.Watch Stormzy’s full performance in the Live Lounge, including the cover of Frank Ocean, below.
