Stormzy drops music video for ‘Need You’ featuring Ayra Starr & Tendai
The track is taken from his recent Number 1 album ‘This Is What I Mean’.
Stormzy has dropped a new music video for his track ‘Need You’. The smoky Afrobeats-tinged song is taken from his most recent album, last year’s ‘This Is What I Mean’.
The video - directed by Meji Alabi - sees the South London artist collaborate with Nigerian popstar Ayra Starr and East London up-and-comer Tendai in a gorgeous, opulent hotel.
In our review of his most recent record, DIY said: “For a majority of its 12 tracks, his delivery is rich, melodic and considered.” Read our review of ‘This Is What I Mean’ here.
You can also revisit our 5 star review of 2017’s ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’, in which we proclaimed the album as an “all-encompassing ride through human experience that’ll stand tall for decades.”
