Stormzy shares ‘Scary’ video

Stormzy has shared ‘Scary’, a new standalone track not featured on his incoming debut album.

Finding the London grime superstar on his most furious form to date, it’s a fittingly dark accompanying clip. ‘Scary’ finds Michael Omari continuing the ferocity exhibited on last ’One Take Freestyle’, ditching the tongue-in-cheek inflections of his breakthrough tracks and instead embracing anger. It’s a suitable title too, then.

That aforementioned debut album is still skulking about in the shadows, but according to the video’s introduction, “The album is coming. When? Look behind you.” Not really sure what he’s on about there, if we’re honest.
