Sunflower Bean announce debut album ‘Human Ceremony,’ share ‘Wall Watcher’
It lands in February next year.
Brooklyn’s Sunflower Bean have announced their debut album. Titled ‘Human Ceremony,’ it comes out on February 5th next year via Fat Possum. It follows on from the band’s debut EP ‘Show Me Your Seven Secrets,’ which they released at the tail end of 2014.
They’ve also shared the first preview of things to come, in the shape of ‘Wall Watcher’. Kicking off with frantically modulating, fuzzed-up guitars, Julia Cumming sings sweetly about “watching you,” and the whole thing is quietly menacing.
Sunflower Bean play London’s Moth Club at the end of this month (30th November). They’re also supporting The Vaccines and Palma Violets at the moment, with shows on the following dates:
NOV
17 Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
19 Brighton, Centre
20 Nottingham, Capital FM Arena
22 London, O2 Academy Brixton [SOLD OUT]
23 London, O2 Academy Brixton
25 Cambridge, Corn Exchange
