Supergroup featuring Dave Grohl to release debut album in 2015

A new supergroup bringing together the likes of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl has announced plans to release its debut album next year.

Teenage Time Killer have signed to Rise Records for a 2015 release. The group consists of Taylor, Grohl, Black Flag’s Keith Morris, Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, The Dead Kennedys’ Jello Blafra and former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, in a project led by Corrosion of Conformity members Reed Mullin and Mike Dean.

A debut album’s already been recorded at Grohl’s California studio Studio 606, reports Kerrang. SUNN O))) even had a hand in the album, with members of The Misfits and Red Fang said to have been involved too.

This sounds like it’s been lifted straight out of DIY’s dream collaborations feature.

Below, you can see footage of Mullin and Dean in the studio with Jonny Webber from Ghost of Saturday Nite.
