Surfer Blood To Record New Album With Gil Norton

The band will work on their second album - the follow up to 2010’s ‘Astro Coast’ - in California.

Surfer Blood have revealed that they will be working on their next album with Gil Norton.

The band will work on their second album - the follow up to 2010’s ‘Astro Coast’ - with the producer, who is renowned for his work with Pixies and Foo Fighters, according to a post on their Twitter.

‘Moving to California on May 12th for two months to record our second record with Gil Norton. Stoked.’

The last release to come from the band was a four-tracl EP, released back in October. It was originally billed as a ‘teaser of things to come,’ entitled ‘Tarot Classics’.

The tracklisting was as follows:

1. ‘I’m Not Ready’
2. ‘Miranda’ [listen below]
3. ‘Voyager Reprise’
4. ‘Drinking Problem’
