Surfer Blood announce new ‘Snowdonia’ album

Surfer Blood have announced ‘Snowdonia’, their fourth studio album and first since the tragic death of guitarist Thomas Fekete, who passed away back in May following a battle with cancer.

The album’s due out 3rd February via Joyful Noise Recordings. It’s led by ‘Six Flags In F Or G’, a Pixies-nodding, shuffling shift in style.

“When I was writing it I was listening to a lot of Swell Maps, Can, and The Breeders, all bands that Thom got me into. Even in his absence his tastes and sensibilities continue to influence my writing,” explained frontman John Paul Pitts in an interview with Noisey.
