Suzi Wu takes to the streets in the video for ‘Taken Care Of’

Follow Suzi on an early morning trip back home.

A couple of weeks ago, London newcomer Suzi Wu unveiled her latest track ‘Taken Care Of’.

Talking about the track at the time, Suzi said that it “is about the things that made and broke me as a child, and finding power in my inability to be perfect. I wrote it for teens and children who are lost and who lead double lives”.

Now, with her debut ‘Teenage Witch’ EP set to come out next week, she’s back with a new video for the track. In it, Suzi takes a theatrical, barefoot and defiant walk back home from a night out, encountering small groups of people along the way, and then getting changed into what might well be her school uniform when she gets back.

Speaking of the video, Suzi said: “The video is a surreal look at an early morning walk home through London. I wanted to show a disconnect between youth and their parents - what does your little darling get up to at night? I came across a brilliant film maker called SHINY who understood what I was trying to do and really helped to bring my idea to life”.
