Premiere: Sweden’s This Is Head debut shape-shifting ‘People’ track

Self-titled LP is due out this Autumn on Adrian Recordings.
Delving into psych and head-turning pop with devilish intent, This Is Head are an exciting proposition. Their third LP is due out this Autumn on Adrian Recordings (Alice Boman, RA), and the album’s first preview is a glistening, groove-led indication of where they’re going.
Recording for the new LP took place in a tiny room, located in the Gothenburg archipelago. A video for new song ‘People’ gives a glimpse into their cabin fevered, claustrophobic routine. As a matter of fact, it’s a miracle they emerged with such spacious, dub-nodding output. Giving nods to the ‘60s extremes of psych, beyond anything else it’s a song that works best in muggy, humid summer evenings, where clothes stick to skin and everyone’s looking for cold water to dive into.
DIY is premiering ‘People’ below.
